6x6 becomes 12x12

Recently at a workshop I wanted to show how Stampin' Up! products work well for scrapbooking. Besides showing the great Simply Scrappin' Kits we created a 6x6 scrapbook page as a "make & take" project (the Blue Bayou square in the middle). Then I easily incorporated the 6x6 page into a 12x12 page. This one still needs a title, a few accent photos, and journaling but it is almost ready and was really quick to put together.

I used Fall Flowers DSP, Old Olive, Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, and Whisper White for my color palette. I stamped the back of the 12x12 Old Olive cardstock and then paper pierced for a different background look. The stamp sets are Friendly Flowers and One of a Kind. For embellishments I used the Boho Blossoms punch, Felt Fusion Flowers, and silver brads. Add some pretty ribbon and there you go... I cute page.

Thanks for stopping by!
